The Novaguard has been ingeniously designed as the next generation replacement for the “Elizabethan” style Recovery Collar.
The unique Novaguard design fits comfortably on the animal’s head like a baseball cap and moves with the animal’s head movements rather than hanging loosely around the neck. As the Novaguard is narrower than the animal’s body, it gives the animal much greater freedom of movement, allowing it to easily judge and avoid obstacles. Importantly the Novaguard does not interfere with the dog’s ears allowing normal hearing and reducing the risk of ear infection.
The revolutionary design of the Optivizor has been engineered to specifically protect the eyes and face after the animal has either endured eye or head surgery or has suffered trauma. The aerodynamic design of the Optivizor contours to the dog’s skull shape creating a well-formed barrier that does not interfere with the dog’s natural movement or judgment of obstacles.
In addition to providing superior protection to the eyes and face, particularly after surgery, the Optivizor also works for general eye protection as it causes no discomfort or obstruction for the dog during use.
